Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup NuVita Oats Digestive
  • ¼ cup Melted Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 6 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 Egg Yolks
  • 1 tsp Lime Zest
  • ¼ cup Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream

Instructions
 

For the Crust
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a food processor, combine the crushed 1 cup NuVita Oats Digestive and ¼ cup Melted Butter.
  • Mix until well combined and press into a greased 9-inch pie dish.
  • Bake for 10 minutes then let it cool completely while you prepare the filling.
For the Filling
  • In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup Sugar and 6 tbsp Cornstarch, mix well, and keep aside.
  • In another bowl whisk together 1 cup Heavy Cream, 1 cup Milk, 4 Egg Yolks, 1 tsp Vanilla Essence, 1 tsp Lime Zest, and ¼ cup Lime Juice.
  • Put it on a lower flame and stir until it thickens.
  • Allow the mixture to cool. You can also cool the mixture in a water bath.
  • Once cooled, add mixture to the crust gradually.
  • Chill for an hour or two.
  • Garnish with 1 cup Whipped Cream and slices of lime.
  • Enjoy your perfect tart.
